/brændˈneɪmz/

Your whole brand sits on one word. Doors open 26 October for a small first group of founders.

Every dollar you spend building your brand stacks on top of its name, and most founders picked that name in an afternoon, on a hunch. Then the trademark letter arrives, or the investor asks "why this name," and it has to hold. BrandNames turns it into a decision. A shortlist of names that fit your category, one clear pick, and a strategist who tells you why. From $999, once.

What we're building

Founders naming a brand today get two options. A generator that sprays out a thousand random words for free, or a naming agency that charges $100K and takes six months. You've probably tried a third, a contest or a freelancer, a few hundred dollars, and a list you couldn't use. None of them give you a reason to pick one name over another, and the reason is the thing you actually need.

BrandNames starts from evidence. 5,241 real brand names, each one studied for how it's built, how it sounds, and where it sits in its category. Tell it what you're building, and hundreds of candidates get cut against that record, down to a shortlist of eight to ten with the reasoning and the risks in plain English, plus the one the strategist would pick and why.

How it's different

01

A method where there was only taste

A generator gives you a thousand names, then goes quiet on the only part that's hard, which one's actually right. A real method can answer that, and tell you why.

02

A strategist who stands behind the call

Friends and forums have opinions, and none of them have to live with being wrong. A strategist makes the call, tells you exactly why, and puts their name to it. The decision stops being yours to carry alone.

03

A decision tested before you ship it

The name that feels perfect tonight can feel shaky by morning. So before you commit, it gets checked against the brands already out there, the kind of clash that turns into a cease-and-desist once people finally notice you.
