BrandNames is in its pre-launch phase. The only thing it collects right now is the email address you choose to share. This page explains what happens to it.
What is collected
If you join the launch list, BrandNames stores the email address you enter and the page it came from. The website host also records standard technical logs, things like the request time and a general region, which every web server keeps. There are no accounts and no payments on the site yet.
How it is used
A launch-list email is used for one purpose, to let you know when BrandNames opens, plus the occasional short update before then. Your address is never sold, rented, or traded.
Where it is stored
Launch-list emails are held in a secure database (Supabase) that only the BrandNames server can write to. Access is limited to the people who run the service.
Cookies
The site uses cookies sparingly. A short-lived preview cookie may be set so a teammate can view gated pages before launch. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your choices
To leave the launch list or have your address removed, write to hello@brandnames.so and it will be deleted.
Changes
This is a plain-English summary for the pre-launch site. A fuller policy reviewed by counsel will replace it before BrandNames begins taking payments. Questions in the meantime can go to hello@brandnames.so. See also the terms.
