How the name works.

Editorial readForthglade splits into two plain English words. "Forth" is an old word for moving forward or outward, the same root that shows up in "set forth" or "go forth." "Glade" is a clearing in a forest, an open patch of light in the middle of dense woodland.
Put them together and the name conjures something like stepping out into open space. There's no clinical ingredient claim, no invented syllable, and it reads like two plain words rather than a surname. Just two old, earthy words that sit comfortably next to each other and point at the same feeling.
How it sounds.

The stress falls forward, FORTH-glade, and that front weight is what makes it land as an invented place name rather than a compound someone can take apart mid-sentence. There's a small hitch in the middle where the TH meets the G, not a hard stop, more a soft catch, and it's the only place in the word where the tongue has to think.
Heard once at a pet store checkout, it's easy enough to repeat back, though a shopper typing it from memory might pause between "forth" and "glade" before deciding there's no space.
